Andrew joined Maple-Brown Abbott in January 2017 after spending six years at the Reserve Bank of Australia, which included an eighteen month secondment to the Bank of England. In his role as Senior Analyst in the International Financial Markets division he was responsible for analysing the implications of developments in international markets for the bank’s monetary policy. Andrew is the Chair of the Macroeconomic Committee and is also an analyst specialising in Diversified Utilities, Pipelines and Renewables. He is the co-author of “Satellites: Are they still infrastructure?” published in September 2018.
